The Godown
Tucked beside the Bukit Nanas forest reserve, The Godown is a converted century-old warehouse and events venue in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, just off Jalan Bukit Nanas. Its Main Hall pairs colonial-era brick with an airy concrete-and-metal pavilion, creating a striking backdrop for exhibitions, performances, cocktail receptions and private dining. Smaller spaces across the adjoining Artist-in-Residence building, including a lobby, garden, two upper levels and a rooftop, suit workshops, talks and intimate gatherings. Beyond private hire, The Godown runs its own arts programming, a monthly artists' market and an annual residency, making it a genuine creative hub rather than a purely commercial hall. Its greenery, natural light and layered indoor-outdoor spaces give it a distinctive character among KL's event venues.
